Madison Mixers


For those who don't already know what a Madison Mixer is, it is a party we hold about every three (3) months or so. We started doing them after the Super Reunion. It is a way for us to keep in touch with old friends and make new ones. We invite everyone we have a current email address on from all of the years. The way it works is we find a centrally located facility that will accommodate us at no charge, has plenty of well lit parking, and will give us Happy Hour prices all night long. On the average we have between 30 to 80 people show up. If you have not received an invitation to one of these mixers, then it means we do not have an email address for you, or your server is sending them to your spam folder. Hi Everyone,

We hope the new year is treating you well, and that you had a great holiday season.

We are always looking for new places to hold our mixers, although this place is not new, it is like new.
The mixer we had there once before was a great success and we tried to have more there, but we have not been able to work into their schedule since, until now.

I got a call today from the manager at the Armadillo Palace informing me that they were able to accommodate our mixer on Saturday January 30th. and that they will give us happy hour drink prices all night.

They always have live music there on the weekend that starts at 10:30 and they have said that anyone from our group who arrive before 8:00 won't have to pay a cover charge if one is applicable.

There is a large parking lot across the street, but if you want to valet park it is only $3.00. They also have a very large patio for those who want to just talk and not listen to the music.

We would really like to have a large turn out for this one. The larger the turn out the more likely they are to accommodated our mixers in the future.
